40th Street Trolley Portal

On December 6th, ground breaking will be held for a new 125-seat two-story restaurant planned for 40th Street and Baltimore Avenue by the trolley terminal. Planning to attend will be Mayor Kenney and Councilwoman Janney Blackwell.

The site is being co-developed by University City District and Trolley Car Diner, designed by Andropogon Architects (plaza landscape architect) and Group G (building architect/interior designer). Domus will serve as the general contractor. When completed, it will be operated by the Trolley Car Diner. The space will feature extensive landscaping, bike racks and outdoor seating.
