Removal of the old Theatre Marquee

Developed by Pennrose Properties and designed by Kitchen and Associates, ground breaking occurred late last year with work commencing in March 2016. Once completed, Wynne Senior Residence, located in West Philadelphia, will contain 51 apartments for seniors.

The site housed the former Wynne Theatre, which sat empty for the past 20 years and fell into disrepair. The building marque and other key elements of the former theater are being incorporated into the new design. The project will be built to meet the Passive House and Green Communities Standards, making it one of the first Passive House buildings in the area.
