Gloria Casarez Residence
New construction of a 4-story, L-shaped building including a
fenced in courtyard for residents in the rear. A total of 31 apartments were
provided for residency of homeless young adults or those at risk of becoming
homeless, one of the first buildings in the nation with supportive housing for the LGBTQ
community. The exterior elevations of the building were comprised of a
combination of modular brick, thin brick, metal composite panels, EIFS, fiber
cement panels, corrugated metal panels and decorative cast stone. The building amenities include a bike storage, laundry
room, exercise room, residential services suite, and a community room.
